Mission BBQ at Landsdowne Centre was packed and the line was out the door for their sought-after, delicious barbecue for their annual Veterans Eat Free event. Employees greeted everyone who came through their doors with a loud “Good morning!” and every customer was treated like family. Plenty of cake was also offered for those who served or were currently serving in the military. Six members of the Coast Guard Academy Glee Club sang a beautiful rendition of the national anthem, and were joined by five members of the Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard. The crowd enjoyed the tribute and it was a wonderful addition to the day.
