Brewmaster/CEO Charlie Buettner and Wagon Wheel chef Eric Reid curated a five-course meal inspired by the warm flavors and the aromas of autumn. Each dish was paired with a tasty craft beer from Fair Winds Brewing Company. Fair Winds is a veteran-owned business with a large tasting room, packaged beer, and a rotating lineup of food vendors and events.
Dinner was served in the 30-barrel brew house in Lorton. From butternut-lardons crostini paired with Bodhi’s Last Ride IPA to pumpkin and rhubarb crisp served with double barrel-aged Ghost of the Mariner Imperial Stout, the sold-out crowd appeared to enjoy each dish more than the last.
