The Torpedo Factory recently held its Anniversary Ball to celebrate the building turning 100 and the art center turning 45 years old. Guests enjoyed an evening of art, music, performances, and film. Lively swing music was provided courtesy of the Good Shot Judy band. An art exhibition called “45: An Anniversary Exhibition” was on display for the public. Guests also enjoyed the premiere of a documentary about the art center’s history created by Alexandria’s own Istrico Productions. The event featured living painted sculptures, live roving performers, a glass harpist, anniversary prints, appetizers, cocktails, and more.
