Great Waves Waterpark, located at Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria, has transformed into a magical winter wonderland. With an ice-skating rink, Christmas lights from top to bottom, and festive holiday music, Ice & Lights is well worth a stop by this holiday season.

If ice skating isn’t your thing, a stroll around the lights and displays is very peaceful at night. You can even grab some pizza or get into the park early to grab a seat by the firepits for roasting marshmallows. Igloos around the park offer shelter from the wind and make a great spot to relax. The park is great for all ages, and the lights and activities make for fun photo ops.

Ice & Lights will be open until January 5, after which the ice-skating rink only will be open until February 29.
