Brittany Patterson: The Patterson Group, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty

As the daughter of a real estate queen, one might say that Brittany Patterson has real estate in her blood, though she didn’t start off her career following the family path. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Patterson majored in Business Marketing and minored in Real Estate, using her passion to pursue a degree that would open doors to a fulfilling professional life. After two years spent working in political fundraising, she joined the family business in 2008 and later became the vice president of the Patterson Group at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, earning accreditation as a staging professional.

The accomplishments Patterson and her team have made professionally are worthy of great pride, though Patterson finds her greatest reward in bringing new homeowners to the area. “I hope I impact the Alexandria community by inviting, involving and connecting more great people to this great place and by telling its story and showing its value where and when I can,” she says. Additionally, she and her team support numerous local organizations. Patterson dedicates much of her free time to serving on the boards of the Alexandria Seaport Foundation and Inova Health Foundation in addition to being an ambassador for Spring2Action as well as Alexandria Chamber’s Young Leaders Network Chair. She is also a contributing member of the Alexandria Stylebook and Old Town Boutique District.
