Michelle Jones Photography

While her first foray into wedding photography was for an elopement in 2018, it wasn’t until 2020 that Michelle Jones formally established her photography business. “It was admittedly a strange year to start a new business during the pandemic, but it also felt so right to me because I felt even more strongly called to this role when it wasn’t possible to see friends and family,” she explains. “Photography has been a lifetime hobby and it’s been so wonderful to play a part in bringing more beauty to peoples’ lives as their photographer.”

Over the past two years, Michelle Jones Photography has become known for its commitment to clients and for Jones herself for her personality and ability to set her clients at ease. “I often advise couples that the most important thing to consider when selecting a wedding photographer is their personality,” she says. “Being photographed is an extremely intimate experience and the key to beautiful, authentic photos is feeling at ease when you’re in front of the camera. Having a good connection with your wedding photographer helps you feel relaxed and allows you to be your true self. I want all of my clients to feel cherished and cared for during their entire experience with me from start to finish. My wedding packages include a gifted engagement session because this session is crucial to achieving amazing wedding day portraits. I work to get to know my clients, which naturally helps clients feel at ease.”

ones has a passion for her work that shows in the quality of her photos as well as in her interactions with her clients. “I know firsthand the value of photographs. To me, there is no greater possession,” she says. “Not only do they provide forever access to our own memories, but we pass them onto our family members and they can be cherished for generations. Wedding days go by quickly and there are so many emotions throughout the day. I love documenting these days, the big moments and the small, because I know how deeply treasured those photographs will be over time.”
