Visit Alexandria recently hosted its Annual Meeting at The Birchmere. Guests were invited to hear about the positive growth trend that Alexandria tourism has been experiencing over the past six years for visitor economy, as well as what the exciting arrival of Amazon and Virginia Tech mean for the community and a future focus on neighborhoods.

The Birchmere Founder, Gary Oelze was presented with a plaque for providing Alexandria with '53 remarkable years of music.' Following the presentation, guests enjoyed a delicious selection of hors d'oeuvres and libations as they were able to network throughout the The Birchmere's grand foyer.
