Village Brauhaus

Village Brauhaus

Boasting a private, spacious upstairs dining room equipped with a stage, professional sound and music equipment, a dedicated bar, a bank of windows overlooking King Street and large skylights that create a warm and inviting atmosphere, Village Brauhaus is an ideal venue for events—and a space that wedding parties fall in love with.

Since 2019, Village Brauhaus is known for its extensive menu of simple, homey and delicious German food. “We work with a traditional German butcher who handmakes all of our sausages,” says Chelsea Gross, who owns the restaurant with her husband, Bill. “The schnitzel, particularly our Jagerschnitzel, is also a crowd-pleaser; and you can't go wrong with our Bavarian pretzels, potato pancakes or any of our imported German and Austrian beers.”

Added to the fantastic food is the welcoming staff. The staff creates an experience that brings guests back for dinner and special occasions. “We love welcoming all of our guests into our home and sharing those experiences with them,” says Chelsea, who, like her husband, has worked in the restaurant industry for decades, holding experience in everything from small-town bars and restaurants to world-class hotels and Michelin star restaurants. “Village Brauhaus is meant to be a place of fun, laughter and just overall good times. We love seeing people happy.”

Part of that happiness includes wedding receptions, engagement parties and rehearsal dinners. “The upstairs dining room offers the space and privacy—as well as the features—that make it perfect,” Chelsea explains. “We’re also at the center of King Street and Old Town, and guests love being in the center of our fabulous historic district! We offer the entire restaurant space if necessary, or we have smaller intimate rooms that will privately accommodate 30 to 120 guests. We love to see happy couples tie the knot here at Brauhaus, and we offer buffet and family-style dinners with the option to add on an open bar beverage package. It’s perfect for whatever occasion is planned.”
