From gorgeous makeup to elegant updos, blushing brides and their bridal posse need to look their very best on the Big Day. For more than a decade, the talented stylists and makeup artists at Salon deZEN have offered every service imaginable to prepare wedding parties for that long-awaited and all-important walk down the aisle.
Open since 2007, owner Maria Elizabeth has since built a reputation for her salon as one of the premier sources for great hair and makeup in the area, and for brides hoping to achieve a look nothing short of breathtakingly stunning on their wedding, the stylists at Salon deZen have made a vow to wow. “Our dedication to the art of beauty, our excitement for the celebration of love, and our energized atmosphere is something that our bridal clients appreciate, and they feel that when they book their services with us,” says Heather Jordan who, in addition to being one of the 13 stylists at the salon, acts as the wedding coordinator working with brides to ensure that everything on the big day is as flawless as their makeup. “When a bride books with us, I reach out immediately and introduce myself,” Jordan explains of the process she follows. “It’s important for me to establish a relationship and get to know the bride so that we can give her and her bridal party the best experience we can, so I ask a great deal of questions and encourage them to do the same. I also encourage brides to share inspiration photos so that I can get several ideas on what may or may not work for them.”
Such a personalized experience and attention to detail is extremely important for such an important day, and those are the very things that have made Salon DeZen so successful in the wedding industry. They go above and beyond in offering a great experience in every way possible for their bridal clientele. “Our salon is a wide and adaptable space with a fun vibe, so it’s equipped to handle large bridal parties. We also give personal attention to each guest, no matter how big or small the number is,” says Jordan. “When bridal parties book with us, each bride gets a specialized gift bag of things we know they’ll find useful: extra bobby pins, a mini bottle of hair spray, travel-sized Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner to help get all the product out, and a couple of surprise goodies including some bubbly to celebrate. We want them to look and feel beautiful and to be able to relax and enjoy everything about their experience with us.” On this day of all days, that’s a vow that will have you falling head over heels.
