Pure Barre came to Lost Boy Cider recently for a pop-up session, and participants not only got in a wonderful workout, but enjoyed a pint of cider as well. Alyson Foster, who is the studio manager at the Pure Barre Alexandria location, led the pop-up and gave participants help and adjustments when needed. Lost Boy’s inviting interior, with its natural light, was perfect for the morning class. The class featured mostly mirrored, core-based pilates moves, while regular Pure Barre classes typically use ballet bars or similar objects. Pure Barre workouts are low-impact, but high intensity, and are offered at all levels.
