Families and friends recently came out to Old Town to get creative and shop. The Makers Mile was a unique way to explore the boutiques of Old Town and learn about the classes they have to offer. Participating stores included AR Workshop, Penny Post, Red Barn Mercantile, Fibre Space, and Stitch Sew Shop. Augie’s Mussel House and Beer Garden also participated, offering specials to anyone with a ‘Makers Mile’ tote bag. Craft activities ranged from needlework and button-making to the creation of wooden signs and bath soaps.
