Due to the cancellation of Oktoberfest in Germany, the famous Paulaner Brewery, which typically 'taps the keg' at the Munich celebration, decided to live stream keg-tappings found around the globe and Old Town Alexandria's very own Village Brauhaus was one of the selected locations. 

In celebration of this exciting occasion, Village Brauhaus recently invited patrons to join them for an indoor & outdoor, social distancing Oktoberfest event. Guests wore authentic German lederhosen, dirndls and accessorized with protective masks. Though some removed them for a quick pic with VIP!

In addition to the keg-tapping, the two-day event featured live music from The Aaron Dussing Band and The Johnny Koenig Band, 5+ Oktobefest Biers on draft and food specials.
