Guests of George Washington’s Mount Vernon were recently invited to step back in time to enjoy the sights and sounds of an 18th-Century marketplace. The event included traditional handcrafted food and wares, 18th-century garden games, live music of the colonial era and crafting demonstrations by expert artisans. As always, General and Lady Washington were available for visits in the General’s Tent.
