Established in 1979 by brothers Franco and Pierro Landini, Landini Bros. is the creation of two men whose passion for food and close bond with each other gave them a dream to create a legacy. Offering traditionally rustic Italian ambiance made even more charming by the original features of the historic building in which they are located, the family feel is embodied by their staff—most of which have been at the restaurant for over a decade.

Naturally, the staff at Landini Bros. love events. The restaurant offers completely private rooms, exceptional food and beverage service, day-of planning to ensure the event runs smoothly and assistance sourcing flowers, décor, pastries and cakes—the latter usually from their sister restaurant, Junction Bakery and Bistro. All of that is reason enough to book Landini Bros. for a special occasion—but even more reason is their heart. “I have heard a multitude of reasons as to why couples chose us,” says Ashlie Dolce, manager and event coordinator. “The traditional rustic Italian décor, the true ‘Landini’ experience each and every one of our service staff members give, the fact that many guests have had the same server for more than ten years, the memories held at our restaurant, our food always being consistently delicious… the list goes on and on.”

As high stress as coordinating an event can be, Dolce loves every minute of it—especially when it comes to wedding parties. “My favorite part of my job is planning rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions,” she says. “Every single part of the process is enjoyable, starting with giving them the initial tour of our private dining to finalizing menu and décor and helping run the event on the day. Making everyone’s ideas come to life is the absolute best part of helping plan a wedding party.”

The reward, of course is seeing how it all comes together. “The gratitude, the smiles on everyone’s face during an event and the cleared—and sometimes, licked clean—plates from our delicious food is always incredible,” says Dolce. “I love and cherish the memories of planning and executing an event every time I see a guest whose party I helped plan.”
