Fancy, trendy, and well-respected were just a few of the sentiments expressed when shoppers were asked to describe The Shoe Hive. The Shoe Hive is owned by Elizabeth Todd and offers a large selection of women’s shoes, jewelry, accessories, and more. The Alexandria retailer recently opened its doors to various vendors for a cocktail hour-type shopping event. Guests were welcomed with a glass of wine to kick off the evening. The event featured a makeup artist and beauty products from Bellacara, handmade Christmas ornaments with custom calligraphy by Laura Hooper, and beautiful bouquets by Helen Olivia Flowers. Guests also enjoyed food from Stomping Ground by Nicole Jones. No matter which direction you looked, smiling faces and friendly interactions abounded.
