The Historic Alexandria Foundation (HAF) recently hosted the annual Toasting Our Town party at the Athenaeum, which benefits the Historic Alexandria Preservation Fund. The celebration marked the foundation’s 65th year of advocating for the preservation of the city’s historic buildings, districts, and neighborhoods, and supporting educational programming.

“I love having fun while doing good,” Mary Sterling, Executive Director of HAF, said. “That’s what this organization really does.”
