Last August, VIP Alexandria Magazine revealed Alexandria's Most Interesting Men of 2020 but everyone wanted to know: Where are the ladies? Well, we are so thrilled to share with you that your wait has finally ended! We are so proud to introduce... Alexandria's Most Inspiring Women of 2021!
We selected our 14 'Red Ladies' based on recent achievements, perseverance throughout the pandemic and willingness to support their fellow women professionals and women-owned small businesses in a time of need.
Though we knew that each of these women would have their own inspiring and unique story to tell, we also knew that bringing a collective of women together, such as these, meant having a singular, unified and powerful voice to raise awareness for a cause that is so near and dear to our hearts.
The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women, is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally. Cardiovascular disease continues to be the No. 1 killer of women. We can wear red and share heart facts, but until all women make a commitment to stand together and take charge of their own heart health, we can be risking the loss of future inspiring stories that have yet to be told.
