'With a global pandemic, fashion has seen a huge shift and I don't expect that to change. I think it's amazing how designers have adapted and I fully expect trends this season to be heavy on at-home comfort and wearability across a few seasons. I expect to see lots of leather, embellishments, patchwork, and suit separates, with an emphasis on tops, blouses, blazers, and sweaters as we have transitioned to mostly online meetings and events, and I do think loungewear will continue to make a statement. Masks have also become a huge part of fashion and I foresee fashion-forward masks and mask accessories like mask chains to continue to lead. This fall I'm personally focused on shopping locally for my fashion must-haves. I have always loved to support local, but this year it's more important than ever to continue to support our local shops and our community- not to mention, Old Town has some of the best boutiques in the entire Northern VA/DC area.' - Dani

'The pandemic has forced many of us to work from home, so it's no wonder why loungewear trends are making a huge comeback this season! Neutrals have definitely replaced colorful prints for both men and women. Blacks and camels will be hot colors this year and silhouettes will vary. But one thing is for sure: it's all about being comfortably chic this season!' - Jordan

'I’ve been stalking my go-to sources for fashion and I’m excited for what’s trending this fall season. Fringe, plaid, metallics, patchwork, neutral tones, and jewel tones are some of my favorites! My style is definitely a mix—sometimes I dress a little more boho which makes me excited for the fringe trend this season. Sometimes I go for a little more edge so I’m here for the metallics with a biker jacket kind-of-look. Majority of the time, I like to keep things minimalist and neutral-colored, so I’m stocking up on fall pieces that are beige, brown, and ivory. I really admire all of the local boutiques in Alexandria because they have some of the most adorable pieces that are always on point with what is trendy. When you shop from small, local businesses you’re supporting someone’s dream and it's important to me to try and make it a point to support these businesses when I can!' - Elizabeth

'Fashion is changing all the time from season to season, year to year. Sometimes things go out of fashion just to come back years later, yet some things never go out of fashion. Madonna once sang 'Express yourself!' Fashion in my eyes is just that. Fashion is personal. Feel comfortable. Stand out from the crowd. If you feel great when you look in the mirror, own it! Express yourself!' - Tony

My favorite items to pull out in the Fall are my booties. Booties are classic and trendy every year. In fact, I loved pairing them with this outfit. They turned my whole look from BOLD to FIERCE! My personal favorite booties are white snakeskin. This Fall... it's all about the python! - Chinwendu
