Though many services were closed to the public due to the Covid-19 this Memorial Day, that did not stop the community from 'masking up' and celebrating with family, friends & neighbors in Old Town.

The King Street Trolley made its rounds. Parks were open for picnics, dog walking and other recreation. Local restaurants like Chadwick's, Hummingbird and Union Street Public House offered Memorial Day dining specials to-go. Even local boutiques such as The Dog Park, 3 Sisters and The Lucky Knot joined in on the fun by offering Memorial Day sales.

Thanks to the creative offerings of these businesses and many others, Memorial day was a huge success here in Alexandria!
