The 4th Annual Capes and Cocktails fundraiser for St Jude's Children's Research Hospital made a few changes this year in switching their venue to Virtue Feed and Grain as well as dressing up their annual party. This year, guests were invited to enjoy an open bar sponsored by Ketel One and Bulleit and snacks provided by Virtue while dressed up in their favorite cocktail attire or letting their inner child play with fun super hero-themed outfits. This event raised money for Team Super Lewkas during the yearly St. Jude Walk/Run DC in memory of Lewkas, a prior patient of St Jude, who sadly gained his angel's cape at only 4 years old. The event hostess, Jeanette, wanted to make sure Lewkas was remembered and that one day no child will ever have to hear 'it's cancer' with fear.
