Cafe 44’s classes have been upgraded, with executive chef Nicki Lewis now teaching the ideal charcuterie board for wine lovers. She recently tried the new class out on a few regulars and Cafe 44’s own CEO, Jula Jane.
Three wines were the muse for the evening’s boards; Antica Chardonnay, Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon, and A to Z Oregon Riesling. Lewis excitedly shared how she chose the specific cheeses, meats, and accompaniments such as jams, honeycomb, and chocolate.
