The New District Brewing Company recently hosted the third annual Arlington Valley Fest, a block party-style festival featuring the Arlington Art Truck, live music and performances, local food, and craft beer. Valley Fest was born of a desire to foster the growth of Arlington’s Four Mile Run valley as an active arts and community hub and featured performances by The Washington Ballet and the 19th Street Band.

New District debuted their Oktoberfest brew at the event. Their business name was inspired by the area around their brewery formerly being called “The New District” after Arlington and Alexandria went from being part of the District of Columbia back to being part of Virginia in 1846.
