With a new name and location, the Alexandria Old Town Art Festival was recently held—with plenty of safety protocols in place to keep patrons and artists alike safe.

Typically hosted on King Street and known as The King Street Art Festival, the city and the Old Town Association felt that the new location would provide solutions to the challenges faced with the intense traffic and parking. Both reserving time slots to visit the festival and wearing face masks were required. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizers were provided throughout.

Though patrons were encouraged to look and not touch, the festival provided all visitors with a wonderful opportunity to venture out into the world for a great cause -- supporting artists when they need it most.
