The Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights celebrated its 20th anniversary along Old Town’s historic waterfront. Attendees enjoyed dockside activities along the waterfront including a pop-up beer garden from Port City Brewing Company, holiday giveaways from 97.1 WASH-FM, and a Letters to Santa postcard station courtesy of Penny Post. Later in the afternoon, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived by fireboat at the Alexandria City Marina to meet with children and their families at the Torpedo Factory Art Center.

At sunset, the boat parade of lights began at the Alexandria City Marina. Spectators could observe the parade from various viewing areas throughout Old Town. Many of the boats continued north toward The Wharf for the District’s Holiday Boat Parade.
