The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s group Senior-Focused Business Network recently partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association to bring awareness to and present volunteer opportunities for Alzheimer’s disease. Guest speaker Diane Vance, programs and services manager for the National Capital Area chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, actively engaged attendees with new research, including the effects of Alzheimer’s at younger ages.
