Aiyana, the Cherokee word for 'endless beauty,' is the perfect name for Ashley Carmen's local business, Aiyana Atelier. Her heritage may have been the inspiration behind the aesthetic studio's name, but Ashley's modern approach to skincare proves committed to 'the art of keeping you endlessly beautiful.'

Owner Ashley Carmen, FNP-C

Aiyana Atelier specializes in aesthetic treatments such as Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Juvederm®, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Sculptra® (facial and body), Instalift sutures, Kybella®, Aquagold®, micro-needling, chemical peels, medical-grade skincare, and skin transformations for hard to treat skin conditions. Additionally, the boutique treats skin conditions such as rosacea, acne scarring, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Ashley works with many brides and grooms at Aiyana Atelier. She wants all couples to know that it is crucial to begin exploring skincare treatments as soon as possible. From the moment the engagement rings slips onto a finger, the countdown to the wedding day begins. 'Skin transformations take on average 30 days to six months with consistent appointments,' Ashley admits. For neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®), it usually takes two to three sessions to customize the treatment, each lasting three to four months. Deeper wrinkles on resting or on expressive movement, as well as erasing wrinkles, will take two to three sessions. Many brides and grooms desire Kybella for a sharper jawline or reduction in the arm fat that sits at the top of the wedding dress. These treatments typically take several vials per session, averaging two to three sessions, six to eight weeks apart. Maximum results are noticeable at three months.

Ashley's best advice is to schedule a consultation early on to begin creating the perfect (and most effective) treatment plan. 'I also have a firm rule and will not inject the bride and groom, nor anyone in the bridal party, six weeks before the wedding.' This rule, she says, is because many treatments take weeks to settle and may need buffering or adjustments last-minute. However, Aquagold® is the perfect icing on the wedding cake one to two weeks prior to the big day. There is no downtime and offers the perfect real-life filter effect.
