The Active for Autism 5K + Kids Dash returned to Alexandria last month to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month. Participants were invited to join in-person for the fun, family-friendly event. Those who were unable to make it in person could join virtually by running, walking, cycling or swimming at their own pace, in their own time, from wherever they are. All proceeds from the Active for Autism 5K & Kids Dash went to the Organization for Autism Research's (OAR) Changing Lives Fund and will be used solely for direct research and programs support.
