Alexandria’s Longest Running Winter Shopping Event Continues in a Socially Distant New Format, February 6-7
Event Now Walkable and Expanded Throughout Old Town
The 17th Annual Alexandria Warehouse Sale returns this year in a different format and will take place over two days the weekend of February 6-7, 2021. Deemed in the region the longest-running boutique driven warehouse sale, the popular mid-winter event will convert to a walkable sale and will take place throughout Old Town with nearly 40 independent boutiques participating. In the past, the sale has taken place at locations in Alexandria such as the Westin and Masonic Temple.
The sale will take place in stores, pop-up tents and open retail space along King Streets and select side streets following social distance guidelines and COVID protocols. The fun annual winter event will include a variety of new boutiques and retailers not only located in Alexandria, but throughout the Metro region.
Deal seekers will find the very best from Alexandria’s and the region's finest retailers and indie brands with various brands of clothing, shoes, jewelry, home furnishings, and more up to 80 percent off retail prices. Free parking will be available on both days.
The first warehouse sale took place in 2004 at the Campagna Center. This year’s event is organized by the Old Town Boutique District and the Old Town Business Association.

Turn your notifications on Instagram for @otboutiques - they will be having TWO giveaway posts leading up to the sale! Share what/where you are most excited to shop for a chance to win an Old Town tote you can use the weekend of the sale along with a $25 gift card to the participating Warehouse Sale business of your choice so you can continue supporting local! Four winners will be selected leading up to the big weekend.
We know shopping ‘til you drop works up an appetite, so we will be doing another giveaway the weekend of the sale, Feb. 6-7. Shoppers can tag @otboutiques in stories showing off their favorite finds.
